Phoenicia Sidon Baalsillem II 401-366 BC AR 1/16th Shekel NGC VG
Phoenicia, Sidon 1/16 AR Shekel Ba'alšillem (Sakton) II (Circa 401-366 BC) Obverse: Phoenician galley left; waves below. Reverse: Persian king or hero, holding dagger and standing right, fighting lion standing left; O between them. HGC 10, 240. Interesting obol-size coin from Phoenicia (modern Lebanon), about 2400 years old! Actually, reverse looks sharp VF despite NGC grading as VG, edge cut. Nice little silver coin. IMPORTANT: Coins - Ancient cannot be shipped to Israel according to the law.
