Karl Ludwig Pattern Taler 1752 KM# Pn3, Albrecht 150, silver striking of the gold 8 Ducat on the 50th year of the reign of Karl Ludwig. This piece was probably a presentation issue given to dignitaries at the Jubilee celebrations. Obv. Half-length armored bust right. Rev. Seven-line inscription in cartouche. Argent-gray and russet patina over minimally marked surfaces, The strike is bold, with very high obverse relief, lustrous surfaces, and prooflike fields.
