Sur cornaline figurant le dieu Esculape, le corps de face, la tête de profil v. la droite. Dans sa main gauche, il tient le bâton enroulé d'un serpent. Ligne de base.

Art romain, Ier-IIe siècle.

A Roman carnelian intaglio depicting Esculape facing front, his head turned right. He holds the stick with the intertwined snake. Groundline. 1st-2nd centuryA.D.
