Tetradrachm, about 460-440 BC. AR 17.29 g. Slow quadriga r., charioteer holds reins with both his hands, kentron with his r. hand; above, Nike flying r. to crown the horses; in exergue, ketos (sea monster) r. Rev. SURAKOSI - ON Head of Arethusa r., wearing pearl diadem, earring and necklace, the hair tied in a krobylos; around, four dolphins. Boehringer 208,514 (these dies). SNG ANS 160.
