Very sharply and centrally struck, an evenly circulated offering but one whose handling has not disguised its high standard of production. Dimly lustrous, brightening in the recesses where it has survived contact, William and Mary's shallowly engraved jugate portraits retaining pleasing detail of a true XF level, or even above, leaving this a fully satisfying type specimen.
