William & Mary Crown 1691 AU50 NGC, KM478, S-3433, ESC-82. TERTIO edge. Lightly handled, but an otherwise notably well-made piece for issue (besides a vertical metal flaw running through William's portrait). Centrally struck with sharp legends and edge dentils, an appealing cobalt tone haloing the devices, only mild weakness to the centers. Firmly Almost Uncirculated, one of the hardest Crowns to obtain in higher grades.
