Eros seated right on back of bull he is subduing by the horns kneeling right with head raised; tunny left below / Quadripartite mill-sail incuse square pattern. Greenwell -. SNG France 5 -. SNG von Aulock 1212. This type may be related to the Labors of Hercules, with Eros representing the child Hercules and taming the Cretan Bull.
