Includes set of two Syracusan reproductions in uncertain red material, wrapped with two layers of red material with gold color edging. One in the style of Euainetos (39mm), the other in the style of Kimon (38mm). Assumed to be uniface. Mounted in felt lined green cardboard presentation box with dedication on the inside lid: "Ellandune Bournemouth XMas 1925 with best wishes for the season". Possibly Scot James Tassie intaglios, but research has not produced any results to confirm a manufacturer. Attractive and intriguing presentation set in the style of souvenirs from the Grand Tour.
