Bank of Abyssinia types are notoriously rare, as almost every issued banknote was redeemed beginning in 1931. Virtually all Specimens were discarded when the Bank of Abyssinia was sold. In 1932, the Bank of Ethiopia opened, and the new types began to circulate. The uniface Color Trials offered here are visually stunning, and quite choice.
