This grouping of notes comprises four notes issued from the beginning of World War II until 1951. BWC printed this design which incorporates great colors and depicts the Mosque of Sultan Qala'un and a street scene in Cairo on the face and an agricultural scene and palm grove on the back. PCGS notes that the Pick 23a example has small edge tears in the right margin and minor rust stains on the back and that one of the Pick 23b notes has had writing in ink partially removed from the face on the left (although this is virtually impossible to locate through the holder).
