Charles the Bald (840-877) Denier ND (864-877) XF45 NGC, Tours mint, Class 2, Rob-1443, MEC I-903, MG-916, Dep-1040 (legends mis-transcribed?). 20mm. 1.58gm. +CRΛTIΛ D-I REX, Karolus monogram / +TVR•ONES CIVITΛS (O diamond-shaped), cross pattee. Some minor die rust around the monogram, but otherwise fully presentable with clean legends and a very round flan. Sold with old collector's or dealer's tag. From the Morris Collection
