China Chung Hwa Republic 10 Dollars ND (c.1896) Pick UNL S/M#C262-2 PMG Very Fine 25. Denominated in gold dollars, this rare 19th century type was issued to raise funds for the upcoming revolution. Additionally, this type was widely desired as it has a facsimile signature of Sun-Yat-sen, the eventual "Father of the Nation." This example is evenly circulated, and pleasing. Apparently, this type was distributed to ethnic Chinese living abroad, including those in Canada and the United States. Third party grader annotates ink.
