Kyoho gold Koban (Ryo) ND (1714-1736) XF (scratches, chopmarks),  Edo mint, KM-FR12, JNDA 09-17, Hartill-8.20 (ER). 38x70mm. 17.79gm. Without era designator, distinctive style to Mitsutsugu signature. A commendable and fully presentable representative of this very rare early 18th-century Koban, almost universally found chopmarked and with light scratches, the present piece displaying comparatively minor flan disturbances from the stamps and still sharp surface crenulations.
