Maria I gold "Plain Headdress" 6400 Reis 1789-R AU58 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM226.1, LMB-526. The final year of issue for Maria's 'plain headdress' type. Unusually high eye-appeal for this type, perfectly centered with bold edges and rich russet toning blending with residual mint luster to produce a dazzling effect.
