MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Philip II (359-336 BC). AV stater (17mm, 8.50 gm, 2h). NGC VF 5/5 - 2/5, ex-jewelry. Late lifetime-early posthumous issue of Pella, ca. 340-328 BC. Laureate head of Apollo right / ΦIΛIΠΠOY, charioteer driving galloping biga right, kentron in right hand, reins in left, trident head right below horse's forelegs. HGC 3.1, 846. SNG ANS 8, 144-154. Nice strike and centering.
