Description

William IV gold Sovereign 1833 MS64 NGC, KM717, S-3829B. Virtually unseen in this condition, and exceeded only by a single example at either major grading service. Displaying a highly lustrous satin finish and a laudable boldness owed to a firm strike. Students of sovereigns might take the opportunity to study the fine differences between this coin, showing the 2nd Bust, and the 1831 with the 1st Bust, including the engraver's signature, here incuse with stops, the "WW" blunt compared to that on the 1831 coin.
