Chihli. Kuang-hsü Dollar Year 24 (1898) VF (Altered, Engraved, and Enameled), Pei Yang Arsenal mint, KM-Y65.2, L&M-449. A most curious specimen and one of few we've encountered to receive a similar treatment, where the obverse has been polished, re-engraved with the dragon motif and legends, and enameled in blue, likely in commemoration of an event or done as a souvenir.
