Republic Chiang Kai-shek Medal ND (1943) UNC Details (Cleaned) PCGS, L&M-970a, cf. KM-X590. Though the metal type of this piece is unlisted in L&M it has the appearance of a silvered brass or perhaps copper-nickel. The few examples of this particular medal that have surfaced at auction have been the copper versions, we believe this offering marks the first appearance of this die pair in this particular metal.
