Qing Dynasty. Hubei Dabao (Large) Sycee of 53 Taels ND Certified MS61 by Gong Bo Grading, cf. Cribb-Class XV (for type). 120.6x66.9x86.3mm. 2010.8gm. Stamped in three sections, each reading "Yong Chang." Cast in the Yongchang District of Szechuan. A highly attractive representative of this fairly substantial type, weighing in as the heaviest Sycee in this very auction and among the largest we've previously handled.
