Henry I (1100-1135) Penny ND (c. 1111) XF40 NGC, London mint, Dereman as moneyer, Facing bust/Quatrefoil with Piles type, 1.32gm, S-1268, N-863. +hENRI RE(X), crowned, diademed, and draped bust of Henry facing / +DERMAN (ON LVND), quatrefoil formed of four semi-circles and four piles alternating, each pile surmounted by an annulet. A scarce issue, rather well-struck for an issue of Henry, a silvery patina picking out the devices from the darkened fields.
