Qing Dynasty. Wen Zong (Xian Feng) 1000 Cash ND (March-August 1854) Certified 82(05) by Gong Bo Grading, Board of Revenue mint (West Branch), Hartill-22.714. 63.1mm. 82.2gm. Another appealing example of this high denomination showcasing needle-point characters and a mottled verdigris surface. Hartill states that although pure copper was to be used in these castings, brass specimens of the 1000 and 500 Cash denominations have been found and seem to be the work of the official mint.
