A highly respectable representation of a very scarce type, interestingly even rarer in its current format, with only a single other fantasy example coming to market in the last decade. Struck to imitate one of only two collectible Dollars of Kansu origin, the piece at hand showcases a slightly crude depiction of Sun Yat-sen and the symbol of the Kuomintang to the reverse. While incredibly similar to those production issues that are almost exclusively witnessed impaired or gently circulated, the current offering features minor details with slightly better articulation and a level of preservation that is enviable for the type.
