Republic 4 Reales 1855-GJ MS62 PCGS, Quito mint, KM37. A seldom-seen portrait type that we have never had the pleasure of offering in Mint State condition. In fact, this is the only uncirculated example at PCGS, confirmed by the crisp devices and neat fields. Scattered areas of weakness toward the peripheries are easily overlooked when admiring the bloom and hints of sunny tone across the surfaces.
