Spanish Colony. Isabel II Counterstamped 8 Reales ND (1834-1837) VF35 PCGS, KM109, Basso-43. Type VI countermark (XF Details) on Colombia 8 Reales 1835 BA-RS. A scarce host type for this countermarked issue, exhibiting even circulation wear and a patina that favors ocher on the obverse and peacock blue, lemon, and mauve on the reverse.
