British India. Victoria gold Mohur 1885-(c) MS62 PCGS, Calcutta mint, KM496, Fr-1604, S&W-6.13, Prid-21. Needle sharp and almost Prooflike for a business strike. The rich luster is held in check by the usual contact marks that prevent this otherwise majestic piece from a Choice or even Gem designation. Still a remarkable find at this level of preservation.
