Gibraltar Government of Gibraltar 1 Pound = 1 Libra 6.8.1914 Pick 3 PMG Very Fine 20 Net. Gibraltar's series series of Government notes are virtually unknown today, as all issued notes were redeemed a century ago. This 1 Pound is one of a mere 11 notes outstanding according to a Gibraltar Treasury report dated 1922. This example is not stamped "Nulo", nor is it perforated. It was mounted and removed along with repairs executed for preservation. A faded cancellation stamp is seen at front, along with an annotation and toned paper. The Colonial Treasurer signature appears to be handsigned. This is the only example graded by PMG. Part of an incredible set offered in today's sale.
