SELEUCID KINGDOM. Antiochus III the Great (222-187 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 16.86 gm, 10h). VF, test cut, punch mark. Seleucia on the Tigris, ca. 220-187 BC. Diademed head of Antiochus III right with youthful, idealized features, long sideburn, small horn above ear, thin diadem ends fluttering behind head; dotted border / BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ANTI-OXOY, Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow in right hand, left hand on grounded bow to right; ME monogram in outer left field, MAY monogram in outer right field, MΩ monogram in exergue.
