Kiau Chau. German Occupation nickel-plated brass Counterstamped 5 Pfennig Token ND (c. early 20th Century) AU58 NGC, Menzel-2951.6. A surprisingly scarce counterstamped issue struck upon a 10 Pfennig and certified just shy of a Mint State assignment. Dripping with luster and precluded from finer designations by the grade-defining handling witnessed to the sitter's portrait and certainly worthy of additional consideration from the quality-minded collector of this peculiar series.
