Bermuda Bermuda Government 5 Pounds 1.8.1941 Pick 13 PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ. Bermuda's £5 notes are rare, desirable, and missing from many collections. Print totals indicate that 145,000 notes were printed bearing the 1941 date; 45,000 in brown and 100,000 in orange. The public complained about the brown colored note, as its similarities to the 5 shillings note invited fraud and deceit. Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company altered the color schemes and continued the print run in orange. This excellent example is original and especially desirable in this excellent grade. EPQ status is a bonus, and can easily be appreciated through the third party holder. A rare type note, with few surviving to be enjoyed today.
