LOWER DANUBE. Imitating Philip III Arrhidaeus (323-317 BC). Ca. 3rd-2nd century BC. AR drachm (20mm, 11h). NGC Choice VF. Imitating Philip III, uncertain mint in northwest Asia Minor. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / ΦIΛIΠΠOY, Zeus seated left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; complex monogram in left field.
