Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1762 Mo-MM AU Details (Cleaned) NGC, Mexico City mint, KM155, Cal-1981. First date of the famed "rat nose" variety. No known Mint State examples at NGC. Cleaning evidenced through muted luster and some hairlining, though the sharpness of the reverse strike and indications of re-toning make this an attractive piece.
