Philip IV gold Cob 2 Escudos 1628 NR-A MS61 NGC, Nuevo Reino mint, KM4.1, Cal-1787. 6.75gm. Much of the detail, including the date, is still visible on this single-graded Mint State example at NGC. The obverse shield is entirely intact and set in high relief against the semi-lustrous fields while the small cross on the reverse is surrounded by an almost entirely legible legend. A conditional rarity to say the least.
