Lion with long curved tail springing right, attacking bull kneeling to left with raised head, and biting into his hind quarters; Θ above, stylized acanthus flower below dotted exergual line / Quadripartite incuse square, the interior compartments with irregular granulation. SNG ANS 10. Desneux 78 (D76/R71). Razor sharp detailing and sublime cabinet toning make the violent scene all the more dynamic. An imposing offering to be sure.
