Republic gold 5 Dukatu 1929 MS66 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM13, Fr-5. Mintage: 1,827. Of a conditional quality far surpassing those generally seen for this date, noting only two specimens finer at NGC. The offering displays strong traces of original luster amidst appealing detail, while a tilt of the wrist reveals nothing that could be construed as distracting. While the occasional spot of toning peppers both faces, this does little to hinder the luminous and resounding brilliance imbued upon the piece.
