L•AVREL•COM-MODVS AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Commodus right, seen from behind / TR P IIII-IMP III COS II P•P, Mars advancing right, transverse spear in right hand, trophy in left over shoulder. Calicó 2339. RIC III (Marcus Aurelius) 659. Lovely, beardless portrait on bright flan with cartwheel luster and a hint of orange toning.
