Macau Banco Nacional Ultramarino 5 Patacas 1.1.1924 Pick 8s KNB9S Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. A scarce, large format denomination exhibiting a beautiful design elements and bright color schemes. An oceanic vignette was delicately placed within an artistically designed frame and a red Specimen overprint highlight the front of this note. The vast majority of printed examples of this note were overprinted for Timor, leaving true Macau notes very rare. Previous mounting and pinholes are mentioned, but this rarely seen example holds the third highest grade in the PMG Population Report, of only 12 registered.
