Commonwealth gold Crown 1650 AU58 NGC, Sun mm, KM393.1, S-3212. 2.20gm. Firmly struck and awash in honeyed, old gold charm. Evenly but not excessively worn for a circulated example, and a laudably well-centered piece. Rare in this variety without the stops by the Sun mintmark, and an offering that will doubtlessly garner strong bidder activity from connoisseurs of English gold coinage.
