Description

Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1819 P-FM MS63 NGC, Popayan mint, KM66.2, Cal-1824, Restrepo-128.33. A wholly engaging conditional outlier for this immensely popular colonial issue, rarely encountered in such fine states of preservation. Harvest gold appearances abound this fully choice representative, blessed with notable originality still evident towards the amber-tinged peripheries. Within the conditional censuses, of which 35 currently reside, only a single MS65 ranks finer, making this an opportunity not to be missed by the Spanish colonial collector focusing on gold issues.
