Divus Claudius I (AD 41-54). AR denarius (18mm, 3.34 gm, 7h). NGC VF 5/5 - 2/5, scratches, edge scuffs. Rome, AD 54. DIVVS•CLAVDIVS•AVGVSTVS, laureate head of Divus Claudius I left / EX•S•C, slow quadriga proceeding right, with temple as car (tensa), decorated panels and pediment, surmounted by quadriga with Victories as acroteria.
