Description

Karl VI gold Ducat 1733 MS61 NGC, Prague mint, KM677, Fr-47b, Dietiker-1031. Mintage: 3,265. 3.44gm. A surprisingly scarce, low-mintage gold emission encountered only 3 times prior to this instance in recent decades at major auction, and generally in more handled conditions. The piece at hand is of a particularly attractive visual allure with mellowed golden fields laying host to somewhat high reliefs one expects from medalets of this vintage. In total, a coin befitting even the most discerning collectors and one that deserves the utmost place of prominence in its cabinet.
