George II gold Guinea 1733 AU58 NGC, KM573.3, Fr-339, S-3674. A scarce issue in any grade, seen here on the cusp of Mint State. This light lemon-gold specimen features a soft strike on the face of George II, while a noticeably sharper strike can be observed on the reverse. Much residual luster has been maintained, particularly on the reverse. A representative of this year has not come to one of our auctions since 2016.
