PTOLEMAIC EGYPT. Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285/4-246 BC). AV trichryson or pentadrachm (23mm, 17.85 gm, 12h). NGC Choice AU 4/5 - 3/5, Fine Style, light graffito. Phoenicia, Tyre, ca. 275/4 BC. Diademed head of Ptolemy I Soter right, aegis tied around neck; dotted border / ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ-ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings closed; H above club in left field, dotted border. CPE 555. Svoronos 636. Well struck on deep honey fields.
