Description

Brunswick-Lüneburg-Calenberg-Hannover. Georg II August Taler 1747-CPS MS63 NGC, Clausthal mint, KM194.1, Dav-2086, Schön-219, Welter-2560. A type possessed by a clear sense of movement, its appearance characterized by a choice golden luminescence splayed over silty fields. Bested by a single MS63+ at NGC, which, however, was not nearly as well-struck, with the aid of a loupe making clear strong unidirectional die polish throughout the reverse. Ex.
