Description

Brandenburg. Friedrich III 2/3 Taler (Gulden) 1689-LCS MS64 NGC, Berlin mint, KM556, Dav-270A, von Schrötter-66. Variety with bust breaking legend and denomination in palms. Handsome and very, very difficult in this condition, with the type even proving challenging to locate in AU. Featuring a full array of fine flow lines over the obverse together with iridescence coloration within the recesses of the reverse, we fully expect this to be a specimen that will not be surpassed anytime soon. From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
