Description

Bavaria. Ludwig I Taler 1837 MS62 PCGS, Munich mint, KM751, Dav-565, AKS-76, Thun-48. The much scarcer first bust type from Ludwig's reign, and the last year for this design, with the vast majority falling short of Mint State. Though some exceedingly mild chatter is indeed detectable over the surfaces, the overall visual quality remains choice, and we would note that older green label PCGS holders such as this are notorious for their more conservative grading. From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
