Description

Bavaria. Maximilian III Joseph Taler 1776 MS64 NGC, Munich mint, KM519.1, Dav-1953A, Schön-99, Hahn-307. A date which is undoubtedly popular with collectors due to its association with American independence, bestowed an appreciable visual caliber punctuated by vibrant saffron and Egyptian blue tones. Decidedly flashy and marred by typical adjustment marks, this prolific Bavarian type remains an admirable example for the type collector. From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
