Anhwei. Kuang-hsü 20 Cents Year 24 (1898) MS62 PCGS, Anking mint, KM-Y43.4, L&M-201, Kann-59. T.A.S.C. on obverse (reverse as holdered) type. Practically choice--by no means a moniker to go overlooked for Anhwei's coinage in general and this one-year minor in particular, with the province's coinage proving very conditionally challenging. We have offered just two representatives of the issue previously, the last being 9 years ago. We would note that while the English letters on this type are typically read A-S-T-C, Wenchao proposes T-A-S-C, standing for "Tatsing Anhwei Silver Coin" (Anhwei Silver Coin of the Great Qing).
