An immensely popular "flying dragon" issue showcasing both a superior conditional state and an advanced visual character rarely encountered on these issues, dressed in a pleasing and wholly pervasive originality that grips the surfaces of the example at hand. Yuan Shih-kai's regal bust in full military uniform is on full display, laudably bold and owed to a firm strike, centering an all-encompassing autumnal tone lit aglow under illumination. The reverse faces up especially attractive, mirroring the patination of the obverse and awash in cascading golden resplendence and certainly a great rarity when located this fine and problem-free.
