MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Demetrius I Poliorcetes (306-283 BC). AR tetradrachm (24mm, 9h). NGC Fine 4/5 - 4/5. Posthumous issue of uncertain mint in Greece or Macedon, ca. 310-275 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus enthroned left, right leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; double-axe within wreath in left field, AYT monogram below strut. Price 818. Very rare. We note that the weight listed on the holder is incorrect. From the Silas Collection
