Bavaria. Karl Theodor 1/2 Taler 1779 MS63 NGC, Munich mint, KM257. A few adjustment marks on the reverse, but otherwise a strong, well-defined strike with ample amounts of residual luster. Virtually Prooflike and very finely stippled over the devices to produce a crisp, medallic finish. A pleasing piece. Ex. Ernst Otto Horn Collection
